The symposium, free to ACCA members, brings together faculty from the ACCA institutions to exchange effective teaching strategies and innovations and/or to present their scholarship on teaching and learning. Please consider joining us at the Symposium!
Presentation submissions will be accepted through October 13, 2014.
Program information will be available on the Program tab once the program is finalized.
As always, all topics are welcome. Some possible suggestions in line with the theme this year include millennial students, changing demographics (increasing numbers of non-traditional students, first generation students, culturally and ethnically diverse students, international students) and the interaction of students, instructors and technology.
There is no registration fee for the symposium for attendees from ACCA institutions or from members of Libras.
Note to speakers: The rooms are all equipped with computer + projection systems. You may use the computer in the room or hook up your own laptop (Mac users please bring the AV connector for your computer). All rooms have internet access to the projection computer and wi-fi is available in the buildings we are utilizing. Times and room assignments are available under the program tab.
Note to poster presenters: The poster boards will be available at check-in. You may put up your poster when you arrive. The poster session follows the breakfast and keynote.
